Introduction

I’m Cade (he/him) and I’ve been a therapist at Arrive since May 2021. I’m a licensed social worker who uses both my personal and professional life experiences to support my clients in their unique journeys. I identify as a white, queer, non-binary transmasculine person who is also neurodivergent.

Education

In 2018 I earned my Masters of Social Work at UPenn, but I’ve been engaging with marginalized populations in a therapeutic setting since I was a teenager volunteering with an equine assisted therapy program for children and adults in New Jersey. There I was able to develop a love for connecting with others over personal growth and achievement.

About Me

When you come see me for therapy, my goal is for you to feel like you’re meeting with a trusted friend. By building a relationship together, I can help my clients learn more about themselves. My goal is to create a safe, secure environment where my clients can grow. My hope is that you feel supported and validated as you make decisions for yourself and your life. I enjoy laughing with my clients and often use humor to form connections.

I began my professional career as a therapist in 2016 when I enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice. I graduated in 2018 and began working as a family therapist in Delaware County, PA. In addition to relational therapy, I enjoy using psychodynamic theory, motivational interviewing, exposure and response prevention, psychoeducation, and more. I have experience working with families, couples, and individuals. I also take a holistic approach to therapy and find it important to collaborate with the client’s entire ecosystem. I’m especially passionate about working with young children, adolescents, and teens.
